founder and principal engineer
Glenn is still active in Glenn Frank Engineering, which he founded in 1988. Glenn grew up in Southern California where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from Calif State Polytechnic Univ. and a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering from Calif. State Univ. Long Beach. He obtained his first P.E. license in 1977 in California, and his Colorado P.E. license in 1981.
Glenn has performed the structural engineering design of well over a thousand structures. This includes projects ranging in size and variety from small residential remodels to large commercial buildings up to six stories in height. He has also been involved in the structural design of various site structures. Glenn worked for several structural engineering firms prior to starting his own firm, including seven years with an excellent structural firm in Denver.
Glenn believes he picked one of the most interesting and satisfying careers on the planet when he chose the structural engineering profession.
Some of Glenn’s favorite pastimes include singing in a choir and with friends, playing guitar, improving his French speaking skills, doing astrophotography from his backyard observatory, summer camping under dark skies with his astronomy club, and summer motorcycle rides.
